Rosie is about 10 years old and about 45 lbs.
She may be around 10 years old, but don’t let her age fool you. She has plenty of energy and loves to go on long walks. She’s pretty good on a leash, and has lots of love and sloppy kisses to give to people, and she hasn’t met a stranger.
She is super smart, learning to go into a sit to get her cookie after a walk. She gets along very well with other dogs, and will even play a bit with younger ones. When she’s had enough, she gives a warning growl and walks away.
She gets along well with her foster’s cat, preferring to ignore it. She wanders around freely in the house, is housebroken and hasn’t had any accidents She also is happy to go lay in her crate but loves to be near people and does well with older children.
Adopting a dog is a serious commitment and any dog can live upwards of 15+ years. Caring for a dog takes time, patience, compassion, dedication and the financial capability to afford vet-care for routine exams to emergency medical care if needed.
