Join us on Saturday, October 18, from 12:00–5:00 pm at Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm in Newbury, MA for Barktoberfest 2025—our 10th annual celebration of rescue, community, and the incredible dogs and people who make it all possible!

This year, we’re taking a look back at a decade of Barktoberfest memories—from the very first tents and tables to the hundreds of happy “Gotcha Day” hugs we’ve witnessed. Whether you’ve been to every event or this is your first time, this is the year to celebrate how far we’ve come together.

What’s Happening:🐾 Live music, local food & drinks, and activities for all ages🐾 A timeline of Barktoberfest through the years—see photos and stories from every event!🐾 Meet adoptable pets and connect with some of our southern rescuers🐾 FREE kid-friendly fun for the whole family🐾 Well-behaved, leashed pups are always welcome!

If you’ve adopted through SPR, this is your chance to reunite with your dog’s rescuer, share updates, and add another memory to the Barktoberfest story.

Also, this year we are continuing a special pre-event gathering with the SPR leadership team and some of our southern rescuers! These tickets are VERY limited so act fast!
