Why oh why is ZEUS still available?! This guy is a 1 year old Basset Rottweiler mix that is again, victim of gross human ignorance. Zeus was purchased for $50 as a Christmas present for a 17 year old boy. This kid didn't want him because he wasn't a "manly dog". So instead, Zeus was locked in a dark basement and in a crate 24/7 💔. On a few occasions, Zeus was let out by the humans that already failed him, but were then mad that he had so much energy and back to the basement he'd go. Zeus really likes other dogs, loves to play with pups big & small, though does prefer dining without other canine company. Despite his first year, Zeus is always happy and smiling and loves his people. He is ignoring the cats in his foster home. Though Zeus is the cutest of "low-riders", his short legs do not slow him down and he is an active pup! Zeus would be a great walking or hiking partner with lots of love to give in-between. This special girl is coming to tomorrow's POP-UP at @nunansflorist [link in profile URL]. Come meet HENRIETTA ❤️ FLYERS for other attending dogs are now posted on our Facebook page [link also in our profile URL]. "Baby Girl Henrietta" is as sweet as they come. Henrietta landed herself in a Massachusetts pound when she was failed by her humans, yet she holds no grudges. SPR pulled Henrietta because our heart broke to see this sweet soul in a concrete cell. We placed her with one of our best foster homes and adoption coordinators and she is thriving. "Henri" has never met a stranger. She is currently living with another resident dog and she gains much confidence from him when learning the ropes in a new home. Do not let her age fool you, she is nine years young and has much pep in her step! She loves to go for walks and run around in her fenced in yard. She has also mastered the art of balance and becoming "one with the couch". After a day with her peeps, she enjoys snuggling on these cold winter nights in front of the TV. One of her new loves are TOYS and she will "gift" these precious possessions to you upon your arrival home. She absolutely deserves her forever people and promises years of her endless love. 📸: @klpseniorportraits 😘

Serving coffee and Whoopies from their truck AND selling their “whoofie pies” which are whoopies just for pups! Jimmy Chew is a man about town. He is being fostered in Newburyport MA and enjoys the sights and smells of his neighborhood. He loves his walks through the brick-paved sidewalks and has a fantastic gate as he struts his stuff in one of his many outfits from his extensive wardrobe. He enjoys meeting dogs along with way and appears indifferent to cats. He's been a quiet houseguest, is just about 100% housebroken, and also does well in the car. Though an older gentleman and at about 15 pounds, he is a man on the move! In addition to being a champion walking companion, he takes his baths like a pro, loves to be petted and craves all the love. He would do best in a home with no children as he is really enjoying his quiet retirement - and in a home where somebody is home a lot. He is reserved upon first meeting, but warms up quickly. He also does well with the resident dog in his foster home though makes sure he has all the food to himself, so a private dining reservation will be required.
