Sweet Paws Rescue believes in the right of animals to live happy, healthy lives in homes full of love and compassion. We are committed to using all possible resources to save victimized and neglected animals. The animal rescue crisis is growing. It’s increasingly local. It’s not going away, and neither are we. Since 2011, Sweet Paws Rescue has saved more than 24,000 dogs and cats entirely through a foster-based, volunteer run model. With your support, we are now building something permanent.

A Forever Home for Sweet Paws Rescue will transform our newly acquired farm property in Boxford into a lifesaving sanctuary, medical hub, and center for humane education. This is a multi-phase campaign and we are already underway. This capital campaign is transformative to our mission. It will allow us to meet the evolving animal rescue crisis head-on, with flexibility, and in ways that strengthen our community.

Every animal who reaches Sweet Paws arrives with a different story. Your support gives each one the same possibility: safety, healing, and a loving home.

OUR TIMELINE

In August 2025, Sweet Paws Rescue acquired a farm in Boxford, Massachusetts, launching us into Phase 2 of our campaign. The 20-acre property has a beautiful working barn, exterior and interior paddocks, and walking trails that connect to a larger network in a beloved conservation area.
